These are the things necessary
to have available when you host a firewalk:
-
Wood: 60 to 70 pieces of dried
wood free of foreign material such as nails or glue.
-
Kindling: A bundle of light
dry sticks. (Remember no nails or foreign material)
-
Paper: Newsprint free of petroleum
based inks. (A thick Sunday newspaper works well as long as it has no petroleum
in it!)
-
Hose: A hose long enough to
reach the firewalk location with a working squeeze-type nozzle.
-
Rakes and Shovel: 2 heavy metal
rakes and a flat shovel, each with long handles.
-
Rebar: 15 pieces of 3/8" rebar
each 6'6" long.
-
Release forms: We will supply
release forms.
-
Refreshments: Since this is
a six-hour event, you may want to provide water to for the participants
to drink. Past seminar hosts have incorporated pot luck dinners or other
forms of meals. However, there should be no alcohol ingested in the hours
leading up to the firewalk itself.
